Care to see what I've been doing?
Yup, I went for it! I did the stripes, thanks for all the opinions!! I ended up going with Chalkboard paint, since I had it laying around. It ended up being the perfect matte black!
Oh and check out the fun tray I found at Target! I always check the dishware section.
The pink vases are from Ikea!
So what do you think? I'm pretty sure I'm loving it!
Looks great! Did it take awhile to tape off straight lines?
ReplyDeleteYes, actually it did! I used a laser level so it wasn't too bad but it was still pretty intense!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! I wish I had used a laser level when I did my bathroom stripes, but no matter - it's always worth the work. I LOVE your dressing room and these stripes in the vanity closet are beautiful! Great job!

I know you didn't have fun taping off those stripes, I did my bathroom and hallway and I swore never again! Looks great though the touches of pink are great. Awesome closet space!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely! Like it was built by a pro! Have a gorgeous weekend, Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this is lovely. I've done handpainted vertical stripes before so I'm well aware of the time and frustration involved. And I am headed to Target in search of that cute tray - thanks for the tip!!!!
ReplyDeleteDang, girl. I just found your blog and it's so cute! Loving the stripes and hello, Target prettiness!

Super cute! I know those stripes had to be difficult to deal with, but the end result is worth it! I can't wait to own a home! My H and I currently rent an apartment now that I'm trying to decorate, but I can't do too much to it!
